Presented by the Madison Savoyards, Gilbert and Sullivan’s Patience is a many splendored thing whose comedy remains relevant a century and a half after its premiere. The show holds up a fun house mirror to the convergence of the 19th century aesthetic movement with prim Victorian ideals, and it is the audience who gets the last laugh.
